Soundtrack For Trip #7: Texas

Everything in Texas is big and bold and has stars on it. That's the first impression we got as soon as we set off exploring in The Lone Star State. After seeing The Alamo early on, everything else fell into place and we understood the passion that Texans feel for their home state. From the Spanish influence in the southern regions like San Antonio and Laredo to the cowboy culture in the north in places like Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas has so much that makes it a true original. And music in Texas like everything else is big and bold. Here's a list of tunes to get you in the mood to put on your cowboy boots and do a little line dancing at Billy Bob's, the world's largest Honky Tonk bar or just kick up a little dust on the trail as you mosey along.
