Fort Worth is an amazing town and since we were staying near the stockyards we thought we'd sample some of the local fare. We stumbled upon the H3 Ranch and all I can say is WOW that was one of the best road trip meals we have ever had. The smell drew us in just like in those old time cartoons. San Antonio is a really pleasant city, and at it’s center is the wonderful River Walk. Winding waterways run through a lively area filled with shops, restaurants, and even some hotels. Oklahoma has a wonderful riverwalk that's also known as Bricktown. What could be better than dinner at a cozy fireside lodge on the snowy slopes of Park City? Not much except maybe a sleigh ride to get there. As we were driving through High Point on our way to the Word's Largest Chest of Drawers, we passed one of the original Krispy Kreme locations....Of course we could not pass us a taste of those heavenly lighter than air doughnuts so we made a beeline straight to the drive through window.
