Lower Mesa Falls was our first road trip stop after landing in Idaho Falls with Shari and all the kids in tow. First stop? Find a toilet...After taking care of business, we headed up to where the waterfall spills over and stood out on the viewing platform. It was so natural and beautiful to see the rushing water and feel the spray. It was great to hear the kids ooh and ahh over something that was so far removed from their life at home in the big city of Los Angeles. The the stop did not take very long, it was a terrific introduction into the natural wonders along the path of Lewis and Clark that were yet to come on this incredible road trip. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth a few moments to take a peek and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
