Give the Cowtown Cattlepen Maze a try if you or your kids are feeling adventurous. We checked in and paid our fee and each kid was given a timed ticket. Their mission was to collect the 4 unique stamps within the maze and then return before the time is up. Gettting their tickets, my kids took off like rockets in all different directions. I stood on the viewing platform watching them run around like little mice. I didn't give any clues unless I was asked. Joel my youngest did get a little lost. Even with my shouting directions from the top he still couldn't figure it out and started to get frustrated. I was thrilled to see his big brother Isaac come to his rescue and help him out. As much as my kids fight and bicker incessantly some times it's so great to see that when they really need help, that they are there for each other. Thankfully, each kid got through the maze getting the final time punched just under the limit to qualify for the prize...which after all the anticipation (spoiler alert) was a tiny little rubber bouncy ball. Nonetheless, the kids had a great time burning off some energy, and I'll admit it was pretty funny for me to watch from up above as the scrambled through the huge maze.
