The not much that's more iconic than the Liberty Bell and you will be pleasantly surprised to find out that it won't cost you a dime to see it. We stood in line for about 15 minutes just to get inside the building, but once we made it in, the line dissipated and we were able to beeline right up it it.
The first thing everyone commented on was that it seemed much smaller than they had imagined. Still you can't argue with that inner feeling of awe that you are standing in front of an important part of American history. We took our requisite photo which is a little bit of a free for all and then took our time to read some of the displays speaking about the bell's history.
You can't touch the bell itself, but look for the display of the casting they made of what's written on the bell. As I ran my hands over it and it gave me chills. Let Freedom Ring!!!!!
