I’d promised my kids a trip to Dollywood Splash Country after they’d seen some show about it on TV about the top 10 water parks in the country and it's all they could talk about they were so excited. Pigeon Forge, in addition to lots of family fun amusements, also has a crazy array of wonderful and weird dinner shows. You just cannot visit here without seeing at least one of them. The first thing that catches your eye about Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe is the bright yellow and lime green colors of the little shop beckoning you to come inside and try Key West's most famous tart and tangy treat. As we approached Milwaukee, the kids were starving and we happened upon an amazing Mongolian BBQ place called BD’s Mongolian Grill. It’s a buffet of raw veggies, meats, noodles, and rice with various sauces. You assemble your bowl and then hand it to the cook who stir fries it up on a big flat wok. Fort Worth is an amazing town and since we were staying near the stockyards we thought we'd sample some of the local fare. We stumbled upon the H3 Ranch and all I can say is WOW that was one of the best road trip meals we have ever had. The smell drew us in just like in those old time cartoons.
